Oh what has blackpool done to me
After thoroughly enjoying blackpool, Im looking to flog my burner and get either a new school or an older freestyle, but having no knowledge on either of the subjects need a little help, hoping to get around £250 for my burner and can make it up to £300 as my budget.
So guys if you had £300 burning a hole what would you buy new school or what does £300 get you in the older freestyle bikes?
Bye bye burner

300 got me frame, forks & BB
how old do you want to go? Pickle had a cracking deal on his haro which had a bunch of other bits with it. If I was starting again I'd bite his hand off (might still be up for sale...)

Re: Oh what has blackpool done to me
dont really know yet, hence the thread, still undecided, I really liked spens khe [yes it was pink] but he picked that up for pennies, compared to the new price
Re: Oh what has blackpool done to me
Buy that new school that Snav had up on RAD, bargain, about £160 quid, might want to change/upgrade a few bits, but would be under budget, and will ride better, promise!!!
And it probly won't have sold this weekend!!!

thats a really nice looking bike - shame Spen forgot to put the tyres on as those tubes were a bit slippy.

yeah they look a bit lethal, my LBS is stocking xposure chas and dave amber walls so i think i'll wack a pair of them on it. I loved it as soon as i saw it tbh, and im not a newschool fan, but the khe really stood out and not just because of the colour either

Re: Oh what has blackpool done to me
another one lost to the dark side of new school
stodgy and pete quad were trying to lure me over at the boardroom, but I managed to resist - not least because as I'm putting bike #3 together I've been issued with a warning from mrs griff that 3 is the limit. The lightness of it was tempting, but would have needed a longer run to get used to it.
gonna stick with my midschool banger for now and maybe upgrade it as time goes on (it's already got newschool wheel on it) although it's heavy as fook it rides nice and I don't think it'll ever break
